A simple Recipe . this sauce is better than it has any right to be.
for one:
8-10 brussel sprouts, halved; set outer leaves aside for chopped garnihs
half a block of tofu; i use half frozen half "fresh" for more texture
oil a roasting pan, spread these on it, salt and season as you'd like. roast at 450, flip after 10-15 minutes when color looks good, 5-15 longer while you finish the sauce
tablespoon of hoisin sauce
tablespoon of tahini
tablespoon of miso
mix all three using water to control consistency -- it'll be pretty salty, especially if you add a bit of shoyu or liquid aminos; control with a splash of vinegar or more hoisin...
put the roast in a bowl and top with sauce, mix and garnish with chopped brussel greens.
