we want a protocol that can solve these use-cases:
someone walks up with a QR code for their ticket
someone walks up without a QR code but pre-registered online (email/name lookup)
someone walks up and wants to buy a t-shirt and a tasting cup with a card
someone walks up and wants to buy a tasting cup with cash
(?)someone ordered a tasting cup when they pre-registered
basic count of items sold with cash are counted in Wix at the end alongside pre-registrations
basic count of attendees and information about day-of registration is also recorded in Wix alongside pre-registrations
i guess a lot of this will happen in the wix owner app once square is connected to it; hopefully it's as simple as "select the t-shirt and tasting cup and press sell" and hold up the card reader? could be nice!
NEXT can we do these with a single bluetooth reader?
